I own & operate a general renovation company. We do a lot of bathroom renovations. I currently need a skilled, clean, courteous tile setter who has taken the Schluter certification training.
The way we pay is one of variety of ways:
1) Based on tile installation only i.e. I provide all the materials and will demo and board the shower/tub stall. You install the tile, Schluter trims, and grout - This is based on a price/sf but for items such as Niche or steps, there will be fixed prices that are add-on to the SF price
2) I provide all materials and tile setter will install everything including boarding and waterproofing
3) Tile setter supplies and installs all the materials (usually based on Schluter's Kerdi system) and will also install everything
You need to be respectful to the home and the homeowner above everything else.
