Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Layer to join our field operations team. The ideal candidate has experience installing underground utilities—water, sewer, and storm systems—but we’re also open to training someone with the right attitude and work ethic. This role requires attention to detail, commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a crew.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install water, sewer, and storm drain piping to grade
• Assist with trench layout, bedding, and backfilling
• Read plans, grade stakes, and laser levels
• Work closely with equipment operators and laborers to ensure accurate and safe installation
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform general labor tasks as needed to support the crew
Qualifications:
• Experience with underground utilities preferred
• Ability to read grade stakes and use pipe lasers (or willingness to learn)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Physically able to lift and perform hands-on tasks
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
