Intermediate / Advanced First Aid Attendant (OFA Level 2 / 3) - LOWER MAINLAND
Best Personnel Inc. is currently accepting applications for experienced First Aid Attendants with valid ntermediate First Aid (OFA 2) or Advanced First Aid (OFA 3) certification to join our workforce for upcoming client assignments.
We are an employment agency that provides workers to a variety of construction and work sites across the Lower Mainland. Assignments may vary by location, duration, schedule, client needs, and worker availability. Some opportunities may offer full-time hours depending on the assignment.
WHAT THIS ROLE INVOLVES
- Providing immediate first aid attention to workers in the event of injury or illness on site
- Monitoring job sites for health and safety hazards and reporting concerns to site supervisors
- Maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked first aid equipment and treatment areas
- Completing accurate incident and treatment reports
- Supporting a strong health and safety culture on active construction sites
- Communicating clearly with workers, supervisors, and site personnel
- Assisting with general site duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Intermediate First Aid (OFA 2) or Advanced First Aid (OFA 3) certification
- Minimum 1 year of construction site experience in the Lower Mainland
- Fluent in English with strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and respond quickly in high-pressure situations
- Familiarity with WorkSafeBC injury reporting procedures is an asset
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional
REQUIRED GEAR
- Hard hat
- Steel-toed work boots
- Reflective safety vest
PAY INFORMATION
- Paid by cheque or e-transfer
- Daily or weekly pay may be available depending on the assignment
