Submarine is a tactical game of World War II. One player assumes the role of a submarine captain, while others are escort and/or convoy captains. The submarine location is kept secret and the submarine player uses plotted movement and firing. The escort/convoy players move their ships on the board. The game includes rules for different adversaries, various anti-submarine warfare systems, historical scenarios, and night fighting.
Game is complete and in outstanding condition. Game appears lightly used as most of the counters are still in their original Counter Sheet. All 314 counters are present - many of these Avalon Hill games have a high number of counters or markers and ensuring they are all included can be somewhat challenging.
A note about the photos - the photo of the game board is a copy - I was unable to take a clear picture - |three separate pieces are assembled into one 28" x 33" playing grid. Game boards are in like new condition. Box is in good condition. Submarine looks like one of Avalon Hill's most challenging games. (For Ages 12 and Up). Asking $2 and must pick up in South Burnaby. Please check Craigslist for other vintage games I have listed.
