Fairview neighborhood is located between Kitsilano and Mount Pleasant neighborhoods', walking distance from the house to Olympic village.
This very big funky old house is also walking distance to Vancouver General Hospital, City Square Mall and busses to UBC or heading east toward Burnaby and other cities. Short walk to sky trains ( Canada Line) heading downtown or toward Richmond and YVR. Walking distance to all shopping needs, including drug stores, grocery, and banks, restaurants, plus much more!
This neighborhood is a quite young family and seniors area, and central to every direction you may want to travel.
What I have available:
âś…One sunny private bedroom on the main upper floor of the house.
âś…Queen sized double pillow top bed, with a 4 1/2 inch memory foam mattress topper. ( Many have called it a Cloud bed!)
âś…Fitted sheet, flat sheet, with a king size duvet and cover.
âś…All 7 pillows have zippered pillow protectors in addition to pillow cases.
âś…Thick oversized bath sheet style towels.
âś…Mini fridge, Antique desk and lamps with a walk in style closet.
Huge Sunny kitchen fully stocked with all you may need for cooking or baking, and you will have your own Full Sized Fridge! I also have a large collection of storage containers for your food or left overs that you are welcome to use.
The shared bathroom has a lovely filtered rain shower with a handheld wand, and bath pillow. There is an empty rack in the shower for you to store your bathing products.
Yoga, meditation workout room /treadmill on main floor. ( This is a Livingroom transformed into a work out zone) Sorry no cable tv and no couches for couch potato-ing! lol
Large (huge) capacity washer (brand new) and dryer in basement ( not coin op and can accommodate king size bedding)
What I also provide:
âś…-Distilled water for the espresso and ice machines.
âś…-Toilet paper, paper towel, tissues, tin foil, plastic wrap, wax paper, and parchment paper.
âś…-Garbage bags of various sizes for kitchen, bathroom and your bedroom.
âś…-Air fresheners in the bathroom
âś…-Household cleaning products- huge variety from natural to professional grade, as well as all dish cleaning tools/supplies.
âś…-I offer liquid laundry detergent both scented and unscented versions and options of wool dryer balls or dryer sheets.
âś…- As a former professional cleaner I clean the house daily with my professional steam cleaner so the kitchen and bathroom are always sanitized.
âś…I keep a very well stocked household so before you spend money on something ask me, I probably have what you need!
Single occupancy only, sorry couples! Sorry no pets as per owner rules. Not a party house, no drugs, vaping, or smoking inside the house please.
About me: I live alone in this big old house! I am an easy going natured female, and I am a spiritualist. I like to gift things on the buy nothing group and to be of service to those in need. I can be outgoing in social situations, have a silly "dad joke" type sense of humor but also need my down time too.
I cannot accommodate, weekday remote or hybrid workers or students. I work from home and have a daily cleaning routine that I prefer to do while my housemate is at work or school. It just makes it easier if we are not under each others feet during regular daytime office hours so I can fit in proper cleaning while I am home working. * 8am-4pm
I am looking for a responsible person that has a busy and active lifestyle. Someone that is dedicated to cleaning up after themselves. I appreciate a "clean as you cook" type person, as I am too! Someone willing participate in removing garbage/recycling every two weeks, and will pay the rent on time.
If you are looking for a quiet place to rest your head for a short term period or while you look for something more permanent this may be a good fit for you. Please note I do not do virtual tours for those who are not in Vancouver. Meeting in person is required as I need to meet the person I will potentially be sharing my home and all my belongings with.
