Fantastic space in Vancouver to live and create!
Looking for a studio or office space? We are looking to sublet a studio room in our two-level, very unique apartment from January 1st to February 17th (dates can be flexible). Our space has been a haven for artists, musicians, health practitioners, and nerds of many stripes. We are seeking responsible fellow creators or practitioners who are motivated and inspired by their work, are respectful communicators, and are mindful of others in our shared spaces. Those practiced at adulting will be shortlisted. :)
One studio, on our third floor, is available. Rent is $925. This space, the ‘upper deck’ is 147 sq ft, east facing, with sliding door balcony access to a shared deck. Closets and cupboards are spacious for storage and supplies. Shared spaces include our kitchen, outside decks, living room and bathrooms. There is NO onsite laundry, but there is a laundromat a few blocks away. The room is furnished with built in drawers, a full sized murphy bed and a great closet, there is also a desk and chair available for the space.
We have a lovely cat already in the space, so no more pets please!
Your rent includes hydro and internet. We are located in the Punjabi Market near Langara, close to the Canada Line, and the Main Street and 49th Ave buses; street parking nearby. Nestled between two small markets, we have several restaurants and coffee shops within a 5 minute walking distance.
We are four humans:
A professional artist and counsellor, a front line health support worker, an actor and cinematographer, a seamstress and maker of things. Two of us steward and look after the space along with the current space's co-founder and her partner who reside between here and the Netherlands, currently living full time abroad.
Our space is a very special spot with lovely humans. If this is interesting for you, drop us a line and share a bit about yourself and what you are looking for.
