I am a friendly, clean, respectful, slightly older guy (young at heart) who is looking to share my bachelor studio apartment with a traveler/student/worker for a temporary time (2 - 12 months or possibly more). I have lived in Vancouver for many years and have local knowledge/good advice if you are new here.
MOVE IN on March 15 or April 1st, 2026.
ALSO: Paintings can be taken down in your area.
YOU: responsible, clean, quiet, busy, chill, friendly, aged approx. between 22 - 37 (with not too many belongings).
You will get to use a small bed with blankets/pillows, small NEW dresser, ceiling fan, lamp, overhead light, your own window (not a great view though) and some additional storage space.
PROS: *GREAT (trendy) AREA of Mount Pleasant with LOTS of amenities nearby! VERY SAFE AREA!
* It will be only the 2 of us and I'm out a lot so it will often feel like ur own place.
*new bathroom and kitchen floors, new fridge, new bathroom sink, new detachable shower head in bathroom.
*lot's of light from your window and sunrise-ish.
* could walk downtown in under an hour.
CONS: *Sorry, but NO GUESTS are allowed over. It's simply too small.
*we have makeshift rooms without doors (curtains and rods only) .
*neighbours next door are up early (usually 6am - 8am) so u may need earplugs or headphones if u r not a deep sleeper.
*my current sleep cycle is basically 10 pm-ish - 7 am-ish.
*no smoking (weed is OK), no pets, no WI-FI, you will need to walk to a pay laundry (not far).
I am hoping to find someone who NEVER loses their keys and is good at communicating schedules, etc.
Rent is on the 1st (never late) and is $650...cash only please.
Plus a standard damage deposit of $325 in cash upfront, which you will get back when you leave, providing that everything is in good condition.
*VALID GOVERNMENT PHOTO I.D. and/or valid passport is required.
