About the space:
3 bedroom upper suite in a Vancouver special with a M/F couple. 3rd bedroom is a spare for guests. Located in the Kensington-Cedar Cottage area (33rd and Victoria), with front (east-) and back (west-facing) yards and gardens.
Two covered decks, a clothesline.
Your washroom is mostly yours except that it is also the washroom for guests. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom.
Must be a clean and tidy person who is conscious of cleaning up after yourself. Gotta care about the environment and be firmly left in your politics.
Utilities are split with lower suites. Room can be furnished or unfurnished and there is some room for more living room furniture.
We share the cost of household/laundry cleaning supplies and toilet paper.
We really like our downstairs neighbours, so we're not a party house.
Who are we?
Community-oriented, sometimes host friends and family over for meals. The spare room is for short term guests. We periodically have out of town family visit (sometimes for a few weeks), colleagues, and possibly kids coming to spend a few nights, and you're welcome to do the same.
One vegetarian, one omnivore, please be respectful about meat (ie. be good at cleaning up meatiness/not using some kitchen items to prepare meat).
Not having cable in the living room is a conscious decision.
If you like Pho then this is the neighbourhood for you!
We are on the #20 and #33 bus route and a half hour walk to the skytrain.
