Safe westside neighbourhood, walking distance to shops, library, community center, forest, Jericho Beach. Bus routes 25 and 7. Street parking and bike storage in garage. Biking distance to UBC.
Share kitchen and bathroom with a professional baker (male, 28, from France) who has lived in many share houses in a number of countries; his interests include hiking and weekly board games with friends. Me: live on upper level, mostly-retired female whose interests include live music, dance performances, watching documentaries (although mostly distressing), volunteering at a recycle depot and at Vancouver Rabbit Rescue. We both happily share baked goods -- he's a professional, but for me it's a hobby I love.
While you don't have to be vegetarian, please respect our 'no meat' policy in the home. Also due to allergies unscented products only -- or those scented naturally -- that means organic, not chemically/artificially-scented.
Hoping for either mature student who values a quieter house for studying or someone working full time -- male or female. One who will share in chores.
