We are a large, locally owned liquor store located in Vancouver [www.tobysliquorstores.ca]. Currently seeking a new PART TIME member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, physically capable individual who can provide excellent guest experience. You must have a valid Serving It Right and be ability to lift over 50lbs. Beer, spirits & wine knowledge is important along with cash handling. Retail merchandising experience are an asset.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Ability to exceeding customer needs and expectations.
* Perform accurate and timely cashier functions, including scanning and entering sales transactions
* Restock shelves, beer and wine coolers, plus perform periodic inventory of stock on hand
* Execute regular cleaning / maintenance in and around the store.
* Preparing orders for pick up and delivery.
Qualifications and Skills
* Must be 19+ years of age and legally able to work in Canada.
* Must have a valid Serving It Right certificate. Wine Spirit Education Trust is an asset.
* Able to work a variety of shifts, evenings, weekdays, weekends & holidays.
* Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits an asset
* The work is physical with frequent bending, lifting and periods of time on your feet.
