Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Liquor retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating Liquor product features, and driving sales through effective communication and merchandising. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the overall success of our store.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and promote products
- Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding Craft Beer, Premium Wine and Spirits Products
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and improve overall store performance
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
- Previous experience in Liquor Store, retail sales, technology sales, or customer service is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, especially in English and other languages relevant to the customer base
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for cash handling transactions
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
- Must have Serve it Right Certification.
