I thought I would post here to try and avoid the Indeed resume void! I am an electrical apprentice who finished her third year of schooling in March and is looking to work for an electrical contractor in Vancouver. My experience is mostly in new build commercial construction with a brief stint in residential work, and I have accumulated 4,423 work-based hours.
I am looking for an employer who has a variety of work available so I can continue to learn and grow with the organization. The attributes I can immediately bring to any company are:
- experience in rough-in and finishing tasks for fire alarm systems and condominiums;
- a strong work ethic, as evidenced by my ability to complete electrical installations diligently and to a high standard;
- the self- direction and proactivity required to work independently combined with the ability to contribute as part of a team; and
- a detail-oriented, organized approach to daily tasks while following safe work procedures.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my post, and if you think I would be a good fit for your company, let’s chat! I understand that recruiting and hiring can be a stressful process, but I hope it goes well for you and that I can provide a solution.
