We are currently seeking experienced live-in resident building manager for rental properties. The primary function of this position is to lead the day-to-day operations of the property.
Job Responsibilities
The position will be responsible for regular, preventative, and corrective maintenance and repair work in suites and common property.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Administrative work involved in the operation of the property, according to procedures and instructions set by the Property Manager,
• Book viewings of suites and interview potential residents,
• Complete accurate detailed move in/out reports for each tenant,
• Help with rent collection and posting notices,
• Maintain accurate files for each resident and suite,
• Schedule and supervise contractors with Property Manager approval,
• Attend to emergencies (afterhours & weekends),
• Prepare detailed Incident Reports related to accidents, altercations, and damage to the property and/or other applicable incidents,
• Minor plumbing repairs and installation,
• Minor suite repairs such as basic carpentry, drywall patching, and painting,
• Cleaning of the building interior and exterior.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Relevant experience as a Resident Caretaker,
• Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act is a benefit,
• Self-motivated with the ability to take directions and work without supervision,
• Strong time management and prioritization capabilities,
• A professional work ethic,
• Excellent customer service and communication skills,
• Knowledge and/or experience regarding electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• Strong mobile proficiency using smartphones, and ability to use mobile tools and various apps,
