Photography lessons improving Digital photography - $35 (Vancouver)

I am a professional photographer and teacher and offering photography lessons for photographers at any skill level. These lessons are extremely useful if you are thinking of or just purchased your first camera - or you have had one for a while but to get the most out of it. As a first course, I provide a 10 hour package, where I teach you basics of technical, aesthetic, digital, film, landscapes and portraits,documentary and more. If you have cameras like Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Leica, Lumix or any other camera I will teach you the best possible camera handling, know all the settings you need for creative photography and produce professional level of results.
I am also specializing on new Sony mirrorless cameras like Sony A7RV , A74 , A1 , have deep insight into Sony settings, lenses, live tethering, travel photography and lenses.
Have 25 years experience photographing with Canon and Sony cameras and now also the latest Mirrorless models Like Canon R5, R6 Mark II.... or Nikon Z6, Z8 and Z9 models.
The 10 hours can be broken up over several days but I recommend at least a 3-5 hour session at a time, as 1-2 hours is too short for this kind of training. I can customize your lessons to your needs and interest as well. My own training includes a university education in art and photography as well as 25 years of experience. I also have 17 years of photography tutoring experience, and can provide references at your request.
At the end of the 10 hours, you will have a good understanding of all the manual settings of your DSLR, so you know exactly what to do to get the best results out of your camera.
My regular rates are $35/hour, I highly recommend a package of 10 hours to cover the basics.
One of the location of instruction is Kitsilano Beach in Vancouver. I cannot travel to your home or other places in Lower Mainland, the quantity of students is simply not allowing me this. I currently shoot with the Sony 7RIV and 7RV and Canon 5DsR and have an assortment of professional lenses so you can try them out before buying with the second package option. I can also help you with purchasing recommendations of equipment and lenses as I have gone through all the research and have the experience. I already had more than two hundred of students and have experience with following cameras: Canon Nikon Phase One Olympus Hasselblad Bronica Pentax Sony Minolta Leica and Mamiya.
Other type of lessons I am offering for people who wants to photograph with medium format.
Some of my students are actually already professionals and I am coaching them new techniques or how to work with newest camera gear.
I also teach Photoshop and Lightroom and Capture One editing software which can be part of this lessons.
