The 1410 is an entry in the new Systematic tripods from Gitzo. A workhorse for 8x10 view cameras, 600mm telephoto lenses & large video applications with maximum load of 12 kg (24.5 lbs.), it is used by professionals worldwide. Systematic tripods from Gitzo let the user decide which column needs they must fulfill. They are supplied with a flat tripod head mounting plate with a reversible 1/4"-20 & 3/8"-16 screw, but the consumer can optionally add a rapid, geared & short center columns as well as a levelling base.

Exceptionally smooth rotation, positive locking and rapid camera mounting are all features common to the Gitzo designed range of ball heads. The graduated base, with independent locking facilities permits perfect panoramic photography. The design of the panoramic base permits the ball heads to be used for table top or near ground level work with or without the use of a tripod. This is an offset ballhead, which makes it possible to point more than 90° down. This is supplied with a 1/4"-20 camera quick release plate, but 3/8"-16 plates are interchangeable with the unit.
