The Rolleiflex K4a Automat 3.5 series I, produced between 1951 and 1955, is a highly regarded camera known for its exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Often referred to as the Rolleiflex Automat model X, it captures 12 exposures of 6x6 cm on 120 roll film and can accommodate a plate adapter for sheet film as well as a Rolleikin adapter for 35mm cartridges.
With its Carl Zeiss Tessar 1:3.5 f=75mm coated lens and a Compur-Rapid X CR00 leaf shutter offering speeds from 1 to 1/500 seconds, this camera was a favorite among professional photographers of its era.
It also includes features such as a flash synchronization socket, a self-timer, and double exposure prevention.
