This is a project for professional level players only. I'm a very experienced guitarist with pro gear and I'm looking for the same in other musicians. I want to work with musicians who have plenty of live and studio playing experience. I'm a singer/writer/guitarist

The sound I'm going for is a bit of a hybrid of Americana, Madchester and psychedelic music. It's not too extreme in any one direction so I'm looking for musicians who are not purists. As atmospheric as I want the music to be, it will always be vocal melody and song oriented but not necessarily traditional song structures.

I'm hearing lap steel with dreamy echo, Dobro, banjo, mandolin and classic keyboards (rhodes, wurlitzer etc) bass and drums...even drum programming.

As a guitarist I play in many alternate tunings to create a very original sound. I play classic guitars through Fender amps with a wide variety of tape delays, reverbs, tremolo and vibrato. I have many guitar ideas and parts for this project already.

The links below aren't necessarily the sound and tempo's I'm going for but shows the breadth of sounds I want to incorporate. If you google psychedelic americana you'll get quite a few bands listed as being a part of that genre. I find those bands as great as they are, a little too tied to the Americana sound. I love Americana and I want to capture that sound but I don't want to nestle so close to it that Americana is the only description people will think of when they hear it. I can hear the occasional use of hip hop in the music as well but only in the sense of using tasteful hip hop rhythms as a backdrop for other sounds. You can hear this kind of beat in the first song I've pasted here as an example. It's not a hip hop beat per se but it's also not a traditional beat you'd hear in Americana music.

I'm all set up to record and have rehearsal space all set up for rehearsals. I can send newly recorded guitar ideas to interested musicians who send me demos's of their playing. Musicians who are right for this project will have recordings and will be happy to will I.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
