Ludwig Translucent Smoke Vistalite 14” x 5” Snare Drum is the original from the acrylic "VISTALITE" series that appeared in the 1970's and took the world by storm. It features the clear, fat, and powerful sound that only acrylic can produce. It offers other features unique to acrylic, such as stage-worthy looks, toughness that is unaffected by climate, and has a clear, attackable sound. Handcrafted in the USA.

It has all of the original Ludwig hardware and is in great condition. The Translucent Smoke color (a rare dark grey color) was added late during the Vistalite production run making it more "limited". Let me know if interested.
