Selling my vintage 1981 Korg Polysix Analog Synthesizer.
SSM chips make this an absolute classic that is far less hard on the wallet than a Sequential Circuits Prophet 5 rev 2.
Recently teched by Knobs Electronics to eliminate a few minor bugs in addition to extensive overhaul as outlined below:
- Kiwisix Midi upgrade board AND power supply board installed. Cost $700 for these parts alone.
- All pots were cleaned and are free of crackle.
- Optocoupler replaced with modern equivalent for improved tuning.
- Tuned and calibrated
- Keybed was also gone through and all contacts cleaned.
- Ferrite Clamps added to reduce noise
- Power Cord replaced with detachable cable
- Includes copy of the original owners manual. Also have Poly 61 Manual included.
Everything works and of course sounds great.
Cosmetically the exterior of this synth is in very good shape for a 40 year old synth!
$3000 Firm - No offers - you pickup Kits.
BONUS: As a package I'm also including an intact Korg Poly 61.
This is in need of repair due to battery damage.
The battery has been removed but no repair attempted - currently it just makes garbled noises.
