Custom made. Ordered in September of 2018 and received March of 2020. Custom shop build time is now three years plus.
Over fifty years I have played and owned many excellent basses and can say with no hesitation that this is by far the best. The playability, workmanship and sound are unmatched. The fanned frets allow for a 37” B string that has great tension and no floppiness.
The dual density body with higher density wood on the bass side creates an overall tighter bottom and the lighter wood on the treble side gives more resonance and warmth on the top.
I will be extremely sad to see this fine instrument go. I am selling because I no longer play that often and would like to free up some money I will be looking for another Dingwall lower model and would consider trading for one.

FYI I cannot find any for sale locally but there are two or three comparable to mine on eBay and Reverb price before tax and shipping 13K to 19K
