Maple Neck is smooth and soft.
Sounds Great.
No scratchy pots.
No fret dents.
Some credibility dings. (see pics) Some were painted black.
This guitar looks more like a TobaccoBurst than a Sunburst. Here is why:
The CY‑era Affinity Squires used two different sunburst formulas around 2007–2010 and the Yako factory in China sprayed the Sunburst pattern differently than usual. They used almost no red for the center.
This left the Yako‑built Affinities looking much closer to a tobacco burst than a classic Fender 3‑tone.
Paired with the slightly yellowed guard and it looks and plays like a comfortable old friend.
