Telex X Gen for sales. I’ve used it and have never had any issues with it mechanically, motors are strong, powers up, internal fan works and all copy wells work. The motors also all run at the same speed in unison which is often an issue often with these. Basically one of the better tape duplicators I’ve used, there’s some crappy ones out there!
However, there is some difference in the quality of the copy from well to well. the first well makes copies that sound closer to the master than the third well. The second is kind of in between the two quality wise. This refers more to music copies, for voice quality recording it likely wouldn’t be
much of an issue.
This might be an easy fix but I’m not mechanically inclined and don’t want to mess with it as it works great otherwise.
