ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a talented and creative videographer to join our team in Vancouver. In this role, you will be the visual voice behind our brand, capturing stunning food, product and brand videos while collaborating with our marketing team to bring campaigns to life across all channels. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is excited to help shape the visual identity of a growing startup.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Video Fed meals, products and campaign concepts with a focus on quality, consistency, and brand alignment
-In partnership with the marketing team and the photographer, develop creative direction and concepts for campaigns, social media, and paid media assets
-Research and recommend shoot locations to best showcase Fed's products and brand
-Prepare and stage shoot areas using appropriate materials and props
-Style food in a creative, aesthetic way that reflects current trends and the brand identity
-Edit and retouch content and deliver high-quality assets in a timely manner
-Produce on-brand deliverables that are engaging across all relevant platforms
-Contribute content to Fed's social media channels working closely with the marketing team
-Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a cohesive visual identity
REQUIREMENTS
-Field experience in video content (food videography and brand experience preferred)
-Ability to style food in a creative, forward-thinking way
-Must own a professional camera, and laptop with editing software. A gimbal is also beneficial for mobile video content but not essential as this can be provided
-Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and similar editing tools
-Up to date with social media trends and aesthetics; knowledge of food trends is a bonus
-Experience in a start-up environment, or a strong interest in working in one
-Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
-Personable, friendly, and able to multitask in a collaborative team environment
-Must be based in Vancouver - this is fed’s primary location
-Flexible working hours - this role will likely be project based
