Mr. Steinman's story:
I was in kindergarten. My parents were told that I would never learn to read and write. Actually, they were mistaken. Now with a diagnosis of Autism (ASD) in my family, it seems probable that with the right training, I could eventually have learned. In fact, I went from "worst" in the class in Kindergarten to graduating with Distinction from McGill University and Mensa membership. There is no guarantee that your child will have the same life-changing results as I did. The message is simply that when it comes to transformational improvement and confidence at school:
1) I have done it myself,
2) I have done it for others, and
3) I can do it for you (if you qualify during a trial lesson***)
*** IMPORTANT *** Trial Lesson - I will not accept students until we have started a trial lesson together.
First Step: Before offering you a trial lesson, we must speak together on the phone or preferably Zoom. Assuming that it seems like a family might be a good client and we can get along well together in supporting the student, we can arrange a trial lesson.
When we meet for the first time I will get straight to work teaching your child what they need to learn right now, without delay. If there is not a good fit, we will part ways on pleasant terms, no need to feel loss since at least you gave it a reasonable try. If you would truly benefit, and you and your family are absolutely 100% delighted with the trial lesson, then we can arrange for future lessons near the end of the trial.
