I am a female native with experience in teaching, in Montreal, in Vancouver for 9 years with knowledge of BC curriculum and in Italy (Aoste, 2 years). I have proven best results in all types of tests, the secondary and primary levels, Delf exam, IB test, AP test among others. Please request proof of excellent record.
Most of my students at the secondary school are from West Vancouver , from excellent schools such Collingwood, Mulgrave and West Vancouver school.
* My classes are designed following long term experience and strong knowledge of a variety of approaches, and adapted to the students needs and goals, combining work on written and on oral and communication skills.
* I focus a lot on the grammar and syntax even with students at a very young age, as well, on conversation .
* I have a very large variety of material and I use very advanced and stimulating material; books that I have in PDF format, that I provide before each class.
* My academic background,- French literature diploma, linguistic and didactic/ methods of teaching French as second language- is reflected in my style of teaching, among other diplomas, Ph.D in Art History and Theory.
* I have a strong knowledge of the psychology of learning ( language sciences and cognitives sciences) which gives a particularity to my classes and definitively better results for learning.
I offer classes to all levels.

* I have a strong understanding of the areas of difficulty of French language acquisition and I have a good sense of English grammar and vocabulary which is very important and helpful, in order to avoid some structure of phrases as it is in English rather than to know and use the structures of phrases ( syntax) as it should be in French.

Rate 60 $ per hour for grade 4 and up. 65 $For grade 9 and 10, 70$ for grade 11 and 12, IB test, AP and SAT test, Delf. 75 $ for Dalf test.
