We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Grounds Maintenance Worker to oversee exterior maintenance for a portfolio of residential apartment buildings located throughout Vancouver. This is a year-round, full-time position suited to someone who takes pride in keeping properties safe, clean, and well-presented in all seasons.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain landscaped areas including lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs
• Perform seasonal grounds work (mowing, pruning, leaf removal, snow and ice control)
• Keep walkways, parking areas, and common exterior spaces clean and safe
• Collect litter and manage exterior waste and recycling areas
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues to management
• Perform minor exterior repairs as required (fencing, signage, small concrete or asphalt repairs)
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment
• Coordinate with property management and other trades as needed
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications & Experience
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or property maintenance preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically capable of performing manual labour in all weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license (required)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Good communication and time-management skills
