Work locations include both commercial and residential buildings throughout the Lower Mainland.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a janitor in a residential building located in the Northshore area.
Hours: 15 to 20 hours per week
Duties: Cleaning the hallways, common areas, sweeping, vacuuming floors, sanitizing restrooms and reporting any maintenance issues
Location: Northshore
No experience needed
Must be able to work independently and lift up to 50 lbs.
Position Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
• Fluent in English
• English comprehension is an asset
• Criminal record check
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• References required
Compensation:
• Starting wage: $20/hour (based on experience and ability)
• Benefits after 3 months
• Company vehicle provided
General Abilities Needed:
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Previous work experience
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
• Able to respond quickly to urgent situations
• Able to take photos and communicate with the office for each task
• Able to complete task reports
• Comfortable using a phone to clock in and clock out at each site, and to enter notes and updates in the maintenance app where the schedule is posted.
