Sunset Stables is looking for an experienced farmhand for a small horse and farm property, located on Bowen Island, BC.
The ideal candidate is hard working, self-motivated, and has experience in horse handling and farmyard maintenance.
Duties will include:
-Feeding & Grooming Horses
-Turning Horses In and Out of Barn & Pasture.
-Stall Cleaning & Picking Paddocks
-Ranch Maintenance: snow plowing, mowing, weeding, moving sprinklers, maintaining
farm equipment, garden and grounds maintenance and other day to day tasks, as needed to
maintain property and operations.
The candidate must have a good understanding of the English language. This includes both written
and verbal communication. They must also be physically able to carry out all necessary duties.
Starting wage is $20.00/hour, and accommodation is negotiable.
There is also an opportunity to run your own equestrian lesson program and stable your horse(s)on
the grounds.
