I'm a 42 year old woman with 2 small trained, fixed chihuahuas looking for a place to rent coming Feb 1st - March 1st at the absolute latest. I am looking for a suitable place that I can afford while I am attending school come June. School will be until October where I will more than likely relocate for employment. Because school is full time and I do not have any extra financial help I need to keep my costs reasonable so I am hoping to find an alternative living situation such as someone just wanting to make a bit of money from rent before they sell their house, tiny home, trailer or even boat. Perhaps you are not selling but are renovating? Maybe you are going away for a couple months and need someone to watch /help out with the property? Maybe you are an elderly person who needs some help? whatever the reason might be I am willing to offer my abilities/talents in exchange for reduced rent.
I am a very strong woman coming from a mostly labor background including car detailing, landscaping, demolition, event set up/tear down and various forms of cleaning from pressure washing to air bnb turn over complete with pool and hot tub care. For 3 years I also did loss prevention and security so I have a clean criminal record, am bondable and trustworthy. I worked in everything from watching CCTV to bike patrol to undercover work so I'm very adept at protecting assets. As a teen I grew up owning and being around horses for many years and also worked at a private barn later in life with show horses helping out with daily care including turn out and feedings. I have also housesat and assisted with pet care and been entrusted with fire watch for private hire. You might describe me as a Jill of all trades. I take pride in the work that I do and am a perfectionist so you can entrust that whatever is asked of me will be done properly with clear instruction.
I am clean, quiet and respectful- I DO NOT smoke, host parties or partake in substances. I am seeking a peaceful place that I can live by myself. My current job has extremely long hours which is unfair to other peoples schedules and renting just a bedroom room with my dogs isn't fair to them or anyone else as they will bark. I am absolutely NOT interested in any men messaging me with salacious suggestions. Your advances are NOT welcome and you will be immediately blocked.
Truly am hoping to win a universal lottery/prayer and find someone/a family that might see an opportunity for exchange to get reduced rent.My budget I feel would absolutely max out at $1000 all in atm but I am definitely aiming for as low as possible as I need to save for when I am in school.
I can provide letters of recommendation, character and work references as well as references from previous rentals. Due to my career tanking during the pandemic and then immediately having a strike for over 8 months immediately as soon as things opened again my credit too a huge hit which is why I am on craigslist in hopes of finding someone who can understand and work with my situation which I am trying very hard to currently improve.
