Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Regional Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will be primarily responsible for providing support and assistance in the execution of all massage initiatives, by closely partnering with Operations, Marketing, and other team members.
This is a part-time role with flexible working hours based out of the Greater Vancouver area.
The Regional RMT will nurture relationships with prospective talent, Colleges/Associations, schools, stakeholders and other regulatory bodies while contributing to the growth of the company and overall mission and vision of a premier provider of therapeutic treatments in Canada. The Regional RMT is also accountable for ensuring regulatory compliance in the clinics while monitoring and recommending solutions/changes to ensure compliance with the Massage College/Association of that province.

Partner with corporate leadership team, Marketing, Operations, PD departments to plan and develop strategies and initiatives related to massage
Develop strong relationships with regulatory bodies, business leaders, educational institutions, and other stakeholders
Create and facilitate presentations to massage students, faculty, RMTs, and association and school leaders.
Represent Massage Addict and attend association, college, and other school functions such as annual general meetings, program advisory committee meetings, career fairs and other massage related events
Support the development and execution of therapist recruiting initiatives and programs
Recommend and assist with clinic set up, Standard Operating Practice, treatment and consent forms, and other in-clinic operational procedures
Review and develop communication and training materials including training manuals, guides and client communication
Facilitate training to Massage Addict franchisees, employees, and contractors
Stay up to date with massage industry trends and communicate relevant changes to the leadership team
Regular follow ups with corporate team to ensure timeliness execution of tasks and initiatives
Participate in corporate meetings and engage in cross functional projects/activities
Provide recruitment/hiring recommendations and offer support, when required, to clinic owners/directors
Support the Massage Addict incident reporting process and liaise with external associations and governing bodies as needed
Abide by all regulations by college, association and the insurance companies
Implement best practices that support the brand and client services.
Education and Qualifications
Must be registered and a member in good standing with the CMTBC
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, policies and national regulations
Ability to use computer skills and in-depth knowledge of internet research
Strong skills at prioritizing work and multi-tasking in a flexible work environment with changing priorities
A positive, professional, and flexible attitude
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
Desire to build and grow within your profession
Previous experience teaching or in an administration role at a school, association, or college is an asset.
