I have an extremely sturdy desk / table that I no longer have space for. It’s the GALANT desk by IKEA. The desk was discontinued, (but if you do a little search, you can see people love and covet these desks for their robust-ness).
It’s a real workhorse. I’ve used it as a dining table, sitting desk, standing desk, kitchen prep table/ kitchen island, display table, and board game table.
It never wobbles. It’s easy to adjust the height of (just 2 screws with an AlIen/hex key). It’s great, and I wish I had more space to keep it.
It has some wear (mostly in one corner - see photos) which is reflected in the price. I originally bought it for $300
It’s 47” long x 24” wide.
The height can be adjusted from 23” high - 31” high.
I have it disassembled so it’s easy to transport.
