Evans Lake Forest Education Centre is hiring a hands-on Food Services Manager to lead kitchen operations at our outdoor education and camp facility.
Role:
Cook and lead a small kitchen team serving 40–130 people. Plan menus (including allergies/special diets), order food, manage inventory and budget, hire/train/schedule staff, and ensure Food Safe, WorkSafe BC, and health compliance.
You:
Experienced Head Cook or Food Services Manager. Strong large-group cooking skills. Food Safe Level 1 required (Level 2 an asset). Organized, adaptable, and comfortable leading a team.
Details:
Full-time, year-round. 37–45 hrs/week (Mar–Oct); 10–20 hrs/week (Nov–Feb). ~$64,000–$73,000/year + extended health benefits.
