Lokal cafe in Kitsilano on west 4th avenue is looking for full time help with making food and help with prep. Our menu is very simple but we are also a busy cafe so experience in the kitchen is preferred.
The ideal candidate is a good team player, friendly, responsible, punctual and able to work in a fast-pace environment.
General Responsibilities:
• opening duties including baking and taking the patio out
• food prep and refill deli station daily
• Follow all recipes and work the food line
• Write and follow prep lists
• Organize and maintain freezers, fridges and storage
• Maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work spaces
Requirements:
• FoodSafe level 1
• Legal to work in Canada (minimum 1 year on work permit)
We are currently hiring for full time 4 days a week, Sunday to Wednesday. Wage is 18 dollars per hour plus tips (average 60-80 per day).Must be able to work from 630am. We offer extended health benefits and wage increase for who is looking for a long term position.
Ideally looking for someone that can start immediately.
