Bike Taxi Driver $$$$$ in my hands! (Downtown)

compensation: $30+
employment type: part-time

Don't deliver food on a bike - that sux! Drive a pedicab between 8pm and 4am on Friday or Saturday night and deliver people instead (they tip a lot better). Get photographed, kissed, keep fit and make heaps of cash as you ride around the hills of Vancouver on a three-wheeled bike.

Everything you make giving rides you keep, minus a rental fee for the bike. The best riders (the ones who like to talk to people, and ask for rides) make $30+ an hour, some riders make a lot more.

You don't make anything unless you ask!

Each shift feels like you are at the party and getting paid to be there. Pedicab-ing is a great way to meet members of the public who are out enjoying themselves.

Its not physically easy, so I am looking for young, fit outdoorsy types. It would really suit a student or someone looking for extra cash/fun on the weekend. You will definitely get a workout on the job, and the occasional slap on the bum/phone number.

I'm going to rent you a really expensive trike so you must be 19+, have a BCID (that is a picture ID - from BC - that's British Columbia; as in issued from the British Columbia government that is still valid as in not expired) and a cell phone (that works, as in it makes and receives calls) - don't apply without them please - I cannot rent you a trike without these things. Working holiday visas are welcome as long as you have an exchangeable drivers license.

You will need to take your (not expired) BCID and our training completion certificate (we will give you the certificate after you are trained), to city hall with $12 to get a pedicab drivers license.

Please be aware that it rains sometimes in Vancouver - riders still make great money as long as they are dressed for the occasion - there is a lot of standing around asking people for rides!

Each bike has a rain cover, it might be a good idea if you did too! Rain boots are $20 at Walmart, Value village sells rain-suits and gloves.

How you going to keep those toes warm?
