This 1951 Cadillac Series 61 Coupe is a well-preserved classic with 78K believed-original miles. It remains original while benefiting from some cosmetic and mechanical restoration over the years. Always a well-kept car, it has been maintained and refreshed where needed while keeping its original charm.
Originally sold in Victoria, BC Canada, this Cadillac has had just 2 owners before I recently purchased it making its way off the island for the first time to Vancouver, BC. in 2024. Its received some reconditioning of the chrome, mechanical components and a new interior. The result is a clean, solid car that looks great and drives just as well.

This Cadillac's body is laser-straight and remains totally rust-free with excellent panel fit. The brightwork is a mix of original and re-chromed pieces, all polished to a brilliant shine. The glass is original and in beautiful shape, complemented by new weatherstripping throughout.
Interior:
The cabin remains largely original, reinforcing its low-mileage history. The dash is well-preserved, while the seats and door panels were redone in the correct upholstery. The original gauges, radio, wipers and clock all work, adding to its authentic charm. It has an amazing steering wheel that looks like new.
Mechanical:
Powered by its original 331ci V8, this Cadillac runs strong, smooth, and quiet. The engine was rebuilt during its cosmetic restoration, and the Hydramatic transmission shifts great. Brakes, suspension, and exhaust have all been properly maintained and refreshed.
Underside & Trunk:
The underside is exceptionally clean, solid and rust free, further proving this car's well-kept history. The trunk is well-detailed, with the correct truck material.
