2005 V50 T5 AWD with the coveted 6-speed manual (M66).
I've owned and maintained this car for the past 10 years with over $10,000 in documented service receipts to prove it. I've got two other Volvo wagons and am downsizing so this one needs a new home.
The Good Stuff:
- Non-Smoker / Zero Rust BC Car.
-New clutch
-New OEM front axles (NLA – good luck finding these!)
-IPD lower transmission mount
-Updated M66 shifter linkage from the 08+ model.
-New brake discs & pads on all corners.
-New Michelin CrossClimate tires with 3 Peak Snowflake
-New engine mounts
-Interior seats are free of tears, but could use a clean.
The Not-So-Good but pretty common Volvo P1 stuff:
-Check Engine Light is on because of a slow oil leak – leaks about a quart every 2 months.
-Coolant leak present – car runs and drives, but being sold AS IS. I think it's just the thermostat housing.
-Sunroof rear drain line is clogged and leaks in heavy rain; front drain tubes have already been replaced)
-Headliner is sagging and needs replacement or pinned.
This is a solid foundation for someone who knows their way around a P1 Volvo. Perfect candidate for an interior strip and some spirited driving, or use this as a GREAT donor for a C30 AWD swap? Whether you're looking for a fun daily, a weekend warrior, or a racecar project, this T5 AWD manual is getting harder to find.
Open to reasonable offers. Would love to see this go to a fellow Volvo enthusiast who appreciates what these cars can do. Let's talk!
