Whoa … Here we have a splendid Red 1974 MGB GT with O/D and 25,000 miles on the clock. *no typos here ,that’s two thousand & five hundred miles. for your consideration. This is one of the last chrome bumper beauty which went through an extensive restoration exceeding $32000 over the span of 20 plus years . The cars was pulled apart * engine out* and was completely refurbished. Everything was either touched, cleaned, polished or replaced with new parts over the process. The twin SU carbs were rebuilt & tuned flawlessly to work with the cam & exhaust for proper breathing thus allowing the 1800cc engine to propel this Pinifarina styled GT to distance. All the bright works gauges, roof liner, shifter knob, cigar lighter, seat foam, leather seat cover etc etc are new or finely refurbished. Top end, clutch, rear end , trans and any potential or otherwise rust all remedied along with a quality respray as part of this intense restoration. Out on the road with a set of true knock off rims * plus one spare* the cars really shines with its elegant stance, especially when the electronic Laycock O/D is engaged while cruising at 60 mph at about 1800 rpm.new head unit w blue tooth, USB and tasteful under dash LED complement the practicality & timeless style to the next level. In reality this is about as close to a new car as one can get.. even the new car smells. Indeed another *Project* with a huge amount of uncertainties in time, energy & possible financial ruins are often on our radar as resuscitation is sometimes thrilling, romantic or perhaps noble, but it comes to a time we wish we can indulge in the simple pleasure of driving and still with a shirt on . I’m currently downshifting Moss Catalogue & Octagon to friends of a friend level for the aforementioned reason. Truly hope this gorgeous ride deserves an enthusiast to cherish for many more horizons ahead . All maintenance & fluids done religiously and Collectors Plated as expected.. auto-licious ! No dramas please .. Cash is king. Thank you !!,
