A local Vancouver consulting firm is in need of participants for a discussion group to learn about opinions and attitudes of potential jurors. Two discussion group times are offered but you can only chose to attend one. The first group will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2006, beginning at 1:00 pm and ending at 3:00 pm You must log into the zoom link no later than 12:45 pm.
You will be e-transferred $100.00. You must be living in Vancouver and you must have a Canadian Bank account. If you apply to do this and you work and live in the US or other international company you cannot be paid.
To be considered for this discussion group, we will need to know that:
Neither you, nor an immediate family member, are in the legal profession, or work for a law firm.
Neither you, nor an immediate family member, are currently or were recently involved in a lawsuit.
Neither you, nor an immediate family member, work for any media organization.
You understand and speak English.
You are willing to sign and abide by a Confidentiality Agreement.
You are willing to give your honest opinions
You have not participated in a jury research project in the past
We are limiting the group size to 8 participants for each session. You will be compensated for your time. If you are interested and meet the above qualifications, please respond to this email. We ask the following questions so that we can form a group that reflects a typical jury:
- First and Last name
- Age
- Sex
- Religious affiliation (if applicable)
- Ethnic background
- Political affiliation (e.g., Democrat, Republican, Independent)
- Brief education and work history
- Telephone number
- Please state which group time you are interested in or if your schedule is flexible
Space is limited; please respond as soon as possible.

WE CANNOT ACCEPT LATE ARRIVALS TO THE ZOOM. IF YOU ARRIVE LATE, YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE AND YOU WILL BE TURNED AWAY WITHOUT COMPENSATION.
