We’re looking for someone to help build a hardware prototype for a high school science fair project, with a strong mentoring component — you’ll be working alongside and teaching a high school student throughout the process.
Skills needed:
• ESP32 / Raspberry Pi (firmware, wiring, debugging)
• PCB design or rapid prototyping (breadboard, soldering)
• OpenCV / camera integration
• Sensor interfacing and LED matrix control
This is not just a build-it-and-deliver job. We need someone patient, communicative, and willing to explain concepts as you work.
Location: near UBC, Vancouver
Pay: CAD $60-80/hr
Flexible hours. Short-term to start, with potential for ongoing collaboration.
Portfolio or past projects welcome. Please reply by email.
