This is a collection of four different collected vintage/ antique badges from the Lower Mainland. First there is a Fire Warden Badge. The British Columbia Forest Service has a long history dating back to the late 19th century. It was initially established to manage and regulate the province's vast forest resources.
There is next a Fire Department badge. The Lions Bay Fire Department is a fire and emergency services department located in the village of Lions Bay, British Columbia, Canada.The Lions Bay Fire Department provides a range of fire protection and emergency response services to the residents of Lions Bay and surrounding areas. This includes firefighting, medical first response, technical rescues, and hazardous materials response.
To the far left in the frame is a Lions Bay By Law Enforcement Badge. Municipalities employ bylaw officers who are responsible for enforcing local bylaws. These officers may have the authority to issue warnings, citations, fines, or other penalties for violations of municipal bylaws.
Lastly, there is an EHS (Emergency Health Service) Ambulance Badeg with an employee number. In British Columbia, Canada, emergency health services are primarily provided by the British Columbia Emergency Health Services (BCEHS), which operates under the umbrella of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). BCEHS employs paramedics and emergency medical dispatchers who are trained to assess and treat patients in a variety of emergency situations. Paramedics provide on-scene medical care and may transport patients to hospitals or other healthcare facilities as needed.
