Solid copper pan made in the 1980’s by the firm of Lucien Letillier in Villedieu, France. One of the premier makers of French copper pans - this copper pan is lined with nickel, not tin, for greater durability. This pan has never been used for cooking, only for display, so its condition is about as good as it gets!
In 1980 Lucien Lecellier trademarked the term Cunilec, made up of Cu for copper, Ni for nickel and lec from his name. The term Cunilec can be seen in the center of the trademark on the pan.
The pan is 20 cm in diameter and 2.3 mm thick. It has a cast iron handle. Weight is 1.74 kg.
From display and storage for 45 +/- years this pan has acquired a slight tarnish to the copper, which I have not cleaned - it is just as it came out of storage.
