On January 1, 1992 the Vancouver Sun published a special "scrapbook" commemorating the history of Vancouver's iconic Empire Stadium. The facility was opened in 1954 to host the British Empire Games and demolished in 1993. In between the stadium hosted the British Empire Games, high school track meets, the BC Lions, Vancouver Whitecaps, and a variety of famous entertainers including Elvis Presley and the Beatles.
This 32 page scrapbook is loaded with color and black and white photos of the special events held at this venue. Album is in outstanding condition. Asking $25 OBO for this unique Vancouver memento.
Must pick up in South Burnaby and please check Craigslist for other vintage items I have listed.
