Note: It is a one size hat. The opening for the head (not the brim) has a circumference of 22 7/8 inches and a diameter of 7 ¾ inches. I have a small head with a circumference of 21 inches and the hat fits well; because inside the opening there is a special elastic that helps keep it in place. Plus there is the chin strap that holds it in place additionally.
