RevUp Car Wash is seeking a part-time Operations Manager to work on a profit-sharing arrangement to help us grow this unique business.
ABOUT REVUP
RevUp is Vancouver's eco-friendly mobile car wash — we come to you. Using less than half a litre of water per wash, our waterless technology delivers a detail-quality clean right at your home or office. No lineups, no wasted water, no hassle. Customers love us (check out our reviews at revupwash.com). We're now looking for a motivated Operations Manager to help us scale this properly.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Operations Manager will liaise directly with customers, launch and receive the Car Wash Technicians, and recharge supplies. We, the Owners, will continue to handle the website, billing, branding, compliance, insurance, and training for new technicians. Marketing can be a collaborative effort, in light of our shared profits.
We expect this role to take approximately 4-8 hours per week for regular operations, plus whatever time you choose to invest into marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be available during business hours to receive calls and texts from prospective customers, answering questions and converting inquiries into bookings on our website.
• Provide custom quotes for service requests that fall outside our standard packages, with advice from the Owners where needed.
• Prepare equipment kits (bags/boxes with products, rags, charged batteries) for technicians each operating day. Wash and restock rags, refill cleaning products, charge batteries, and maintain equipment readiness at all times.
• Handle customer concerns with professionalism and empathy, finding reasonable solutions, ensuring our washing protocol is always completed properly, and ensuring proper documentation of outcomes by the Car Wash Technicians.
• Oversee quality control to ensure service standards are consistently met. Advise the Owners if a particular Car Wash Technician is not working up to our standard.
• Uphold and represent RevUp's brand values: eco-consciousness, convenience, and exceptional customer experience.
• Pursue promotional initiatives that you believe will grow the business, with Owner approval on any associated expenses.
• Attend a monthly meeting with the Owners to refine operations as needed.

LOCATION
We operate throughout the city of Vancouver, with most customers located downtown. The Operations Manager should be located nearby.
COMPENSATION
This role is structured as an independent contractor, based purely on a profit-sharing arrangement — you will earn 50% of net profits generated by the business, to be re-evaluated March 31, 2027. Profit distributions will be calculated transparently and paid monthly.
We believe in full transparency: with the right candidate, we'll share our historical revenue and expense data before you commit, so you can form a realistic picture of the earning potential at various business volumes. No surprises.
As part of our work together, the Owners will also offer coaching and experience in relation to startup / business management.
