* Minimum 5+ years of civil construction experience with a focus on excavation, underground utilities, and site servicing
* Demonstrated experience in roadworks, including asphalt and concrete removal, restoration, and installation
* Experience with sidewalks, curb & gutter, letdowns, and related concrete works
* Proficiency in saw cutting, concrete removal, and surface preparation
* Working knowledge of sanitary and storm service disconnections, catch basins, and utility adjustments
* Experience coordinating traffic control and maintaining site safety in active work zones
* Ability to interpret survey layouts, IFC drawings, and construction plans
* Understanding of municipal requirements and permits, including Street Use Permits and BC One Call
* Experience coordinating on site with inspectors, surveyors, traffic control, and testing agencies
* Strong understanding of site conditions, sequencing, and constructability
* Commitment to WorkSafeBC regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies
Qualifications & Experience:
* 2+ years of civil construction experience, including excavations, utilities, or site preparation
* Proven experience supervising crews on small to medium projects
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, equipment, and safety regulations
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and job documents
* First Aid certification an asset
