Why the original layout is proffered:
- swing centre board rotates up resulting in less likelihood of damage in the event that you hit bottom or forget to raise the board when putting the boat on the trailer,
- there is no dagger board protruding into the middle of the cabin space,
- the location of the head is further back which does not split up the cabin into small cramped spaces,
- the galley is positioned centre ship making for better stability when cooking underway.
