Offered for sale is this stunning, fast Trek Alpha 2.1 aluminum endurance road bike with a carbon fork and a full 20 speed Shimano 105 drivetrain/group set.
The bike has an XL 62cm frame so would be suitable to a rider between 6'2" and 6'6", give or take.
As you would expect of any bike by Trek, these are over engineered and (over)built to meet a very specific standard. The bike's specs are as follows -
FRAME - Alpha Black Series 6061 butted aluminum
FORK - Bontrager tapered blade carbon fiber
DRIVETRAIN - Shimano 105 20 speed (2x10) w/brifters
BRAKES - Tektro alloy caliper
CRANKSET - Shimano 105 alloy 3 piece compact. Choice of alloy platform pedals or clipless pedals
COCKPIT - Bontrager Race alloy drop handlebar w/alloy 4 bolt stem. Threadless semi integrated headset.
WHEELS - anodized alloy double walled w/Mavic alloy hubs. 700x28c all-road tires
EXTRAS - quick release hubs, braze-on mounting points for rear rack/fenders (new bar tape and chain)
The bike is in excellent overall condition. A few minor, yet typical age related cosmetic blemishes from locking and storage. Never dropped or crashed and runs absolutely beautifully. Fully tuned and detailed. A solid 8+/10.
This bike originally retailed in store for $1700, before taxes and pedals. I am selling the bike for $645 firm.
