Hello, I am offering my services to anyone needing a piano or synth player for their project or live performance I have been playing professionally for more than 30 years. I also play other instruments as well such as guitar, sax, and ukulele.
I have also been teaching music for about as long as I have been playing professionally. I came through the Royal Conservatory of Music Method playing piano and have finished all my requirements in performance and Music Theory and have since branched out into many different avenues of music.
I offer in-home lessons on all the instruments I have listed above including Music Theory in the areas of the North Shore, Burnaby, East Van, Downtown, Kits, Yale Town. That means I come to you, I have a very flexible schedule and you don't need to have a regular lesson if you are not sure about taking regular lessons.
I have achieved great success over my career and I can show you how to achieve great success as well by showing you how to become a proficient player through exercises for building muscles for excellent playing and dexterity, I can explain how to read and understand music and the concepts contained within written music and the scope of it. I can show you how not to give up halfway through your trying to achieve what it is your trying to achieve and finally I can help you understand how to have fun and freedom playing almost anything you choose even if that something is playing by ear which is where I spend a great deal of my own time playing nowadays, technique is the answer there and how to use it over the chordal progressions of your favorite songs that you listen to every day.
The piano is my main instrument and I have a great deal of experience playing it, my saxophone lessons are geared towards beginner and intermediate players just wishing to become better players and my guitar and ukulele lessons are for beginner students.
All classes are open to people of all ages and are very affordable at $80 for four 30 minute lessons if you require more time that can be arranged as well. You pay at the end of the month and only pay for the lessons you have taken and any books or supplies that are required so there is nothing upfront and so you have nothing to lose except your fear of not achieving, I can set it up so it fits your lifestyle.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact myself by hitting the reply button and I will assist you in any way I can, questions are free of charge and remember musical instruments are all different and require different techniques but music is the same and so you must approach it methodically with meaning and purpose if you are to achieve that is where a good mentor/teacher can help. thanks for taking the time to read this I hope to hear from you soon.
