An awesome steel steamer trunk with wonderful original paint and patina. The trunk looks like wood but it is actually painted metal. Research indicates this trunk was made in England in the late 1800’s. The brass lock is stamped “E. BATES W. HAMPTON SECURE LEVER WITH MODERN IMPROVEMENT”.
This trunk is over 100 years old, there is no key! There are chips to the paint, some dents, scratches and wear, however nothing major.
