Beside our earthly families there is also a holy, heavenly family, the Christian theological trinity (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit) and another trinity: Father, Mother (Madonna) and Son (Jesus), that takes much more place in the everyday life, because it is comparable to our human family, and includes humans, too.
I have a touching artwork, Madonna and the little Jesus, masterfully carved in wood. 6.5cm x 5cm x 19cm. Also, a ceramics figurine of a saint (St. Peter?) holding the little Jesus in his arms, about the same size. Expecting 25 dollars for each figurine.

Every motherhood and parenthood is holy- in a very impressive way that can be seen in the composition picturing an Inuit mother and her baby. Made of sand stone, pretty heavy. 6.5cm x 6.5cm x 10cm. Expecting 35 dollars.
